The Wettest Classroom on Earth 2019
Collaboration between Venturers Trust, Extreme Classrooms, Whole Education and Kunskapsskolan.
The Wettest Classroom on Earth - an inspirational journey and an outstanding opportunity for children from upper primary age to sixth form students.
Part of the Extreme Classroom series of events, this innovative and inclusive initiative brings together students from across the country, representing mainstream and special schools. Working as a team, pupils will navigate their way around the British coast, learning precious life skills and experiencing life on the open sea in this opportunity of a lifetime.

Student's Onboard Recipe Book
Student's participating on the project have really taken to the healthy eating meal plan that has been put in place onboard the Queen Galadriel.
Students have mentioned on their return how they plan to cook for their families when they are back home and continue with the healthy eating plan.

May 2019 - Queen Galadriel has departed for Bristol
It is less than three weeks until the Wettest Classroom on Earth departures from Bristol Harbour. Excitement is building at Venturers Trust as students prepare to set sail on an adventure of a life time.
The Queen Galadriel is the ship that students will call home during the voyage. She is now on route to Bristol, last spotted on the outskirts of Poole Harbour on Marine Traffic.

October 2018 - Ship's itinerary finalised
The final itinerary and port arrangements in preparation for the expedition next May have been decided. Students across the schools and their families have been informed. (As seen at the top of this website page).
July 2018 - Selection Camp
Students completed their initial Selection Camp in Snowdonia National Park in Summer 2018.
