Whole-academy 'Golden Ticket' invite

A visit to the SS Great Britain

Venturers’ Academy was very lucky to receive a ‘Golden Ticket’ which meant the whole-academy could visit the SS Great Britain on Thursday 14th December. Students from across the academy enjoyed a fun-packed day which included a tour of this magnificent ship, walking underneath the ship through the dry dock, experiencing the museum and viewing artefacts, dressing up in Victorian clothes and playing with Victorian toys.

Staff and family helpers also enjoyed dressing up and were a great support for all our young people.

Our hosts made the whole day fascinating and enjoyable, we were very well cared for.
